Search GraphQL API available

What changed¶

We released the Search GraphQL API for programmatic QL searches. Start a search, check its status with the returned search URN, and retrieve its results after it completes.

The first release supports createSearch, getOrCreateSearch, search, and searchResults. Read the getting started guide for the workflow and the Search GraphQL API reference for supported fields and types.

The API is under active development. Introspection may show fields or types that the reference does not document. Use the reference to identify the supported surface.

Breaking change¶

No. This release adds an API.

Migration steps¶

Not applicable — this release does not change existing APIs. If you use the XDR Query API, read the Search migration guide before you rewrite SQL queries in QL.
